Craig J. Pullen, P.S.

– President

Mr. Pullen joined the company in February 2013 as Director of Surveying Services.  Craig was elected to the Management Committee and Board of Directors in 2019 and 2022, respectively, holding the positions of Secretary (2019-2021) and Treasurer (2022 to 2024).

For more than 35 years Craig has provided surveying services in Michigan, including establishing GPS control networks and real-time GPS surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, route surveys, alignment and right-of-way surveys, ground control surveys, survey mapping, construction layout, road and construction staking.  Craig has extensive knowledge of Michigan state survey law.

Craig is an active member of the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors and has served as president of the Northern Chapter. He has also been the elected County Surveyor for Wexford County since 2008.

Craig is a Licensed Professional Surveyor in MI, MN, WI, and NC, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying from Ferris State University in 1989.

Mark J. Hurley, P.E.

– Director of Engineering Services

Mr. Hurley joined Gosling Czubak in April 2004 as an Engineer/Project Manager.  In 2018 he was appointed Director of Engineering Services and has served on the Management Committee and Board of Directors since 2016 and 2018, respectively.

Mark has worked in the field of municipal and industrial engineering since 1995. Mark's technical experience includes the design, specification preparation, permitting and construction engineering of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems. As the former engineer for the City of Holland, Mark gained a wealth of practical knowledge in municipal water and sewer system design, maintenance, and rehabilitation, which he uses daily to the benefit of many area municipalities.

Mark is an active member of Michigan Water Environment Association and participates in Michigan Rural Water Association, American Water Works Association, and Michigan Food Processors Association.  

Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1995 and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Wayne State University in 1999.  Mark is also a Licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan and Kentucky.

Adam Biteman, P.G., CPG

– Director of Environmental & Drilling Services

Mr. Biteman joined Gosling Czubak in April 2004 as a Geologist/Project Manager.  He was appointed Director of Environmental & Drilling Services in July 2022.  Adam has served on the Management Committee since March 2020.

With more than 20 years specializing in multi-disciplinary projects, Adam is responsible for geotechnical and hydrogeological evaluations, environmental site assessments, soil and groundwater remediation, groundwater resource, and technical construction support projects.  Adam is also responsible for directing daily drilling operations and providing technical analysis for projects company wide.

Adam received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Sciences from Michigan State University in 1999 and is a Licensed Professional Geologist in Alaska and a Certified Professional Geologist through American Institute of Professional Geologists.

Martin A. Graf, P.E.

– Director Construction Materials Testing Services

Mr. Graf joined Gosling Czubak in 2000 as an Engineer/Project Manager.  Martin has served on the Management Committee since 2021 and was appointed Director of Construction Materials Testing Services in 2023. 

Martin has worked in the field of municipal and transportation engineering since 1993. Martin’s technical experience includes designing municipal utility projects along with implementing MDOT specification projects.  He has significant experience in road design, municipal utility design, construction inspection, construction oversight, and construction administration. He has knowledge of AASHTO and MDOT standards and procedures and has implemented them on many projects.  Martin is an active member of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers.  

Martin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1993 and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan.

Michael P. Stocking, P.S.

– Director of Surveying Services

Mr. Stocking joined Gosling Czubak in 2016 as a project manager and is licensed in Michigan as a Professional Surveyor with over 20 years of surveying experience. His expertise includes establishing GPS control networks, real-time GPS surveys, topographic surveys, oil and gas well and pipeline staking and permitting, public and private easements, construction staking, route surveys, alignment and right-of-way surveys, ground control surveys, survey mapping, construction layout, road and construction staking. He is progressive with new technology and has been at the forefront of aerial mapping with unmanned aerial systems, and most recently a LiDAR drone. He is also an FAA Part 107 Licensed UAS Pilot.  His extensive surveying knowledge and rapport with clients and staff are ideal for this role. Mike is a 2004 graduate of Ferris State University and is a member of the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors along with the Michigan Oil & Gas Association.
