Kewadin Waterfront Park

Milton Township, MI

Gosling Czubak assisted Milton Township with the development of a waterfront park and water trailhead on north Elk Lake, part of the Chain of Lakes Water Trail, adjacent to an existing public boat launch. The project includes adaptive reuse of a former lodge for universally accessible (UA) restrooms, and park storage on the lower level and an open-air pavilion and observation deck on the upper level, parking, beach enhancement with UA beach matting and transfer station, 6’ accessible walkways, shade pavilion, interpretive maps, water trail signage, community gathering space with fire pit, benches, picnic tables, litter containers, native landscaping and site utilities.
