Hay Lake Park & Marina

Littlefield Township, MI

Project entailed the redevelopment of a former private marina, which is a key boating access and trailhead location for the Inland Waterway Trail. Development plans included a public marina, small boat launch, universally accessible (UA) canoe/kayak launch, elevated wetland overlook, water trailhead with car-trailer and car parking, UA restroom/shower building and amenities.

A MDNR Waterways grant was secured, which provided over $185,000 in funds for the boat launch and support facility construction. Littlefield Township committed over $1.1M in matching funds for the two grants to complete the $2.7M project.

Experiential Resources (ERI), a Hawaiian-based company that designs and builds aerial adventure attractions, teamed with Gosling Czubak to provide surveying and construction materials testing for the SkyBridge Michigan project at Boyne Mountain, the world’s longest, timber-towered suspension bridge.

Wastewater Treatment Plant

Gosling Czubak completed design of a new 582,000 gallon per day extended aeration mechanical plant/lagoon hybrid process wastewater treatment plant for the Village of Elk Rapids in Antrim County.

Jones Landing Park

Gosling Czubak designed the park facilities, including a new boat launch, beach facility, restrooms, and park pavilion.

McKeese Road

Gosling Czubak provided design and construction engineering services for this BIA funded road improvement project.
