C.A.S.A. Soccer Complex

Grayling, MI

Gosling Czubak worked with Crawford AuSable Soccer Association (CASA) to develop a master site plan for a four field complex to be located on the former Crawford County Fair Ground Site northeast of the City of Grayling. The CASA group asked for assitance to develop visualizations and cost estimates for the facility with a 2-field Phase 1 implementation project.  A five inch irrigation well was drilled, and major soil ammendment made to develop the appropriate Sports Root Zone (SRZ) mix for atheletic turf.

Gosling Czubak developed removals, layout, grading, and irrigation plans and bidding specificaitons. We also assisted in the bidding and full contract administration during construction. Services were also provided to assist the County manage the grow-in of the fields. The construction phase was competed for $115,000.

Jones Landing Park

Gosling Czubak designed the park facilities, including a new boat launch, beach facility, restrooms, and park pavilion.

Water System Improvements

Gosling Czubak provided design and permitting services for a new 450 GPM water supply well, a 500,000 gallon ground storage reservoir and 11,000 feet of 16" water main to connect the new reservoir to the water system in the Township.

New Wells and Water Main

Within the last several years, Gosling Czubak has designed two new high capacity wells (900 gpm each) for the Village of Kalkaska. 

St Marys Cement Plant Upgrade

Gosling Czubak was retained by St. Marys Cement and its parent company, Votorantim Cimentos, to provide engineering, testing and inspection for a 225' tall blend silo at its Charlevoix, Michigan cement plant.
